Although this is a very useful feature if you are already using a third-party compression program, some of them can disable built-in Windows Zip support and associate the external Zip program with the Zip file format. In Windows XP this solution worked. All you had to do was uninstall a DLL file. Open the Run field, type and press Enter :

The Windows registry may not allow you to simply delete these keys. You may need to take possession of these registry keys. I suggest you use our RegOwnIt to do it easily.
If you have other zip file compression software or installed, you should disable this built-in zip support to save some resources.
